Whatever challenge we may be facing, here is a promise which helps us. If the Lord goes before us, it must be safe to follow. Who can obstruct our progress if the Lord Himself is our front? And, He who is before us is also with us: above, around, within us is the omnipotent one. How this strengthens our arm and brightens our way. Yes, we may have to fight, but with Him at hand, the victory is certain.
Prayer: As You have promised never to leave us, open our eyes now to see You present at our table. Amen
